Ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo has said the only Nigerian Christian leader that would make heaven is the late Prelate Emeritus of the Methodist Church of Nigeria, Sunday Mbang.
He disclosed this during Mbang’s funeral service in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
The former president was the Special Guest of Honour at the event.
He said the “late Prelate was not only forthright but he was not a man of emotions.”
After his release from prison and pressure to become president, Obasanjo said Mbang was one of the important Nigerians he consulted.
He disclosed getting enormous advice from the late prelate.
Obasanjo said the late Prelate Emeritus was a man he always sought his advice because of his forthrightness.
