A South African content creator at the centre of a viral private jet video allegedly involving Senator Adams Oshiomhole has spoken out, telling angry Nigerian critics to direct their outrage at the lawmaker rather than at her.

Leshaan Dagama, an adult-content creator and social media influencer based in South Africa, addressed the controversy on her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, February 4, after Nigerians flooded her page with criticism following the circulation of a short clip online. The video, which went viral across social media platforms, allegedly shows the Edo North senator massaging a woman’s feet aboard a private jet.

The footage triggered intense speculation, with some social media users initially suggesting that the woman in the luxury setting might be Senator Oshiomhole’s wife. Others disputed this, pointing to perceived physical differences and calling for closer scrutiny. The online sleuthing eventually led users to Dagama’s social media accounts, where she was identified as the woman in the clip.

Her comment sections quickly became a battleground, as political anger, insults and accusations poured in from Nigeria and beyond. Reacting to the backlash, Dagama did not deny being the woman seen in the video. Instead, she pushed back against the criticism, stating pointedly: “Your senator is the problem, go be mad at him, not me.”

The controversy has since drawn a response from Senator Oshiomhole, who, through his media aide on Tuesday, dismissed the video as inauthentic. He described the footage purportedly showing him caressing Dagama’s feet as “fake,” insisting that it was generated using artificial intelligence.
