The Ogun State Police Command has successfully recovered a Toyota Camry, which was suspected to have been stolen. The vehicle, bearing registration number SMK 231JK, was traced from Ijebu-Ode to a location in New Garage, Kara, where it had been abandoned.
Officers from the Warewa Police Division discovered the car on Thursday, 13 February 2025, at approximately 6:00pm. It has since been moved to the Mowe Police Division, located along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, where it is being held for safekeeping.
The police are urging the legitimate owner of the vehicle to come forward with proof of ownership in order to reclaim the car.
