American rapper, singer and 2023 Arcade Music Hall of Famer, Lizzo announced her quitting the music industry in a shocking Instagram post on Saturday.
Lizzo, Uptown Press learned said she is quitting music due to unwarranted criticisms being laid on her personal life and in the entertainment Industry.
The 35-years-old singer said she’s getting tired of being dragged by everyone in her life and on the internet.
The “Truth Hurts” singer took to social media saying, “I’m getting tired of putting up with being dragged by everyone in my life and on the internet. All I want is to make music and make people happy and help the world be a little better than how I found it. But I am starting to feel like the world doesn’t want me in it.”
