From Moses Akwanga
Residents of Akwanga and surrounding communities have issued a strong warning against the return to power of Labaran Maku, describing him as a “tribal bigot and agent of division.”
Speaking to reporters, community spokesperson Moses Akwanga said that Maku’s exit previously fostered understanding and harmony between the Mada and Eggon communities, and that his return could threaten the peace that has been achieved.
He urged citizens to stand united in rejecting any attempt to bring Maku back into political office, emphasizing the need to protect social cohesion, community unity, and the future of Nasarawa State.
