The National Association of Seadogs, Area 3, has hosted its highly anticipated Charity Ball at the luxurious ADJ Royalty Hotel and Suites in Benin City on April 26, 2025. The event drew in a star-studded crowd of distinguished guests, Seadogs, and friends, all united by a shared passion for giving back to the community.
Area 3 Regional Vice President, Dirisu Odion, set the tone for the evening with a heartfelt welcome address, emphasizing the importance of the charity ball in making a meaningful impact in the lives of those in need. “Tonight, we gather in the spirit of camaraderie and generosity to celebrate the values that define us as Seadogs,” he said.
The evening’s festivities were expertly steered by Master of Ceremony, Dr. Obasanmi Jude, who kept the audience enthralled throughout. The highlight of the night was undoubtedly the auction, led by Dr. Ekiyor Chris, which featured quality customized T-shirts that sparked intense bidding. In a remarkable display of philanthropy, a senior member of the confraternity donated an Original Castil Eros Wristwatch, which was auctioned off to great acclaim.
The event’s success was largely due to the tireless efforts of the Planning Committee, chaired by Mr. Pacqueen Aisagbonhi, and the event planner, Mr. Joe Simpson. Mr. Nagberi Timi’s presentation on the National Association of Seadogs’ past charitable endeavors served as a poignant reminder of the organization’s commitment to advocacy and community service.
