The Senator representing Edo South, Distinguished Senator Neda Imasuen, has joined millions of Edo people in celebrating the Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, on his birthday today, August 29, 2025.
In a statement Friday by his Media Aide, Moshood Karim, Senator Imasuen described Governor Okpebholo as “a man of courage, vision and action,” noting that in less than a year in office, he has shown uncommon commitment to securing lives, driving infrastructural growth, and restoring Edo’s pride.
He commended the Governor’s fight against cultism, kidnapping and other criminal activities, which, he said, has brought peace and safety to communities across the State. The Senator also praised Okpebholo’s infrastructural push, including the ongoing construction of Edo’s first flyover at Ramat Park, the revival of the New Edo Line transport service, reforms in the health and agricultural sectors, and bold changes in education.
“These are not just policies; they are life-changing achievements that show Governor Okpebholo’s heart for the people,” Imasuen stated.
He prayed for long life, good health and a successful tenure for the Governor, wishing that his leadership continues to usher in greater peace, prosperity and progress for Edo State.
