The Senator representing Edo South Senatorial District, Senator Neda Imasuen, has congratulated the Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, on the occasion of his one year in office, describing his administration as one driven by vision, compassion, and people-centred governance.
In a statement issued in Benin City, Senator Imasuen commended Governor Okpebholo for his bold developmental strides in key sectors such as infrastructure, transport, education, security and agriculture, as well as his deliberate efforts at creating employment opportunities for the youth.
He noted that in just one year, the governor through the implementation of his SHINE agenda has rekindled hope in the Edo project by running “a government with a human face, one that listens, responds, and delivers.”
“Your leadership has brought renewed energy and direction to Edo State. The people feel your impact in the roads being built, the schools being revived, the farmlands being cultivated, and the jobs being created for our teeming youths,” the Senator stated.
Senator Imasuen further prayed for divine strength, wisdom, and God’s continuous guidance for Governor Okpebholo as he continues to pilot the affairs of the state towards greater peace, progress, and prosperity.
“May the Almighty grant you the grace to sustain this momentum and take Edo to even greater heights,” he added.
