The Deputy Chief Whip of the Edo State House of Assembly, Hon. Richard Edosa, has set the tone for the new school term with a rousing message to pupils in Oredo West Constituency, urging them to take their education seriously and embrace discipline and determination as guiding principles.

In a statement made available to journalists in Benin City, Edosa described the children as the “shining stars, leaders of tomorrow, and the hope of a greater Edo State and Nigeria.”

He assured that the Edo Assembly would continue to stand firmly behind their educational aspirations, pledging support for both their academic progress and overall wellbeing.

“Your education is a treasure—nurture it with diligence, discipline, and determination. Always remember that you are loved, cherished, and supported,” Edosa declared.

He urged the pupils to seize every fresh opportunity in the new academic term, stressing that with the love of parents, the guidance of teachers and the backing of the community, “there is no limit to how far you will go.”

Edosa concluded by charging the children to “shine brightly, excel greatly, and lead boldly,” saying the new term must mark a season of renewed commitment to learning and growth.
