A South Africa based Nigerian man, Charles Awuzie on Thursday took to social media to send SOS message to South African Police authority over threat to his life.
In a post on his verified Facebook page, he narrated how a Zimbabwean plumber he hired to fix his swimming pool threatened to kill him.
He wrote:
A Shona-Zimbabwean man came to fix my Swimming pool this afternoon. I told him I was busy in a meeting and he claimed he left. I just received a voice note from him where he literally said he would KILL ME for making him drive to my house without giving him time.
This guy has fixed my pool before and I paid him. I was going to finish my meeting in about 20 minutes and show him what needs to be done but I think he’s just full of anger that he ended up threatening my life.
So this is an official SOS to the South African Police Service. Threat to life is a serious crime in South Africa and nobody should take it for granted. My family member was murdered in Johannesburg 20 years ago. So I can’t take this threat for granted.
I will open a case at the police station tomorrow morning. I will make sure that this fellow is arrested and placed behind bars.
