A Former Presidential aide, Reno Omokri has admonished Nigerian Christians to stop worshipping God on Sunday explaining that such practice glorifies paganism.
In a post on social media, Sunday he said that the Sabbath day which is Saturday is the holy day instituted by God for formal worship.

Sunday is not the Christian day of worship. Everyday is a worship day. But the day ETERNALLY set aside for formal worship is the Sabbath (Exodus 20:8-11). Christ NEVER missed worshiping on the Sabbath (Luke 4:16). Some people quote Paul out of context in Romans 14:5-6. Read the whole chapter. Paul was referring to those “whose faith was weak”.
Paul himself had a “custom” of formal worshipping on the Sabbath Day (Acts 17:2). Can a man who worshipped on the Sabbath ask you to break it? Get your doctrine from Scripture, not from church dogma-2 Timothy 3:16. Sunday worship originated from Roman paganism, not from Scripture. Don’t trust me. Don’t trust your pastor. Tryst Scripture. Read it for yourself. You won’t die!
