The state government has started distributing financial aid to over 26,000 students who are natives of Kwara State and currently studying in tertiary institutions across Nigeria.
Each eligible student has received N10,000 directly deposited into their bank accounts to help alleviate the impact of the fuel subsidy removal. The disbursement process followed an extensive screening procedure, ensuring that all deserving students from 140 higher education institutions nationwide benefited from this assistance.
This palliative fund distribution shows the government’s commitment to the welfare and well-being of its students.
The funds were transferred directly to the students’ bank accounts to ensure transparency and efficiency.
As a reminder, eligible students were required to register on the online platform and provide necessary information, including their bank account details.
