In a statement released on Saturday, March 29, 2025, the Sultan, who also serves as the President-General of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), confirmed that Eid al-Fitr will be celebrated across Nigeria on Sunday, March 30, 2025.
