Together, they conspired to end Phiri’s life. They succeeded and buried his body atop Changisa’s in the same house.

The psychological toll of witnessing two murders took a severe toll on Ncumisa’s older son. By 2018, at the age of 18, he had fallen into drug abuse, a probable consequence of the trauma he endured. The son began blackmailing his mother for money to fund his addiction, threatening to expose her crimes if she failed to comply.
Facing relentless pressure, Ncumisa resorted to another extreme measure—she murdered her own son and buried him alongside her two former lovers. Her younger son, only 12 at the time, bore witness to this third horrific act.
A Shocking Confession

During the consultation, the boy, believing that the murders were the cause of his ailment, confessed the gruesome details to the healer.
