According to Senator Yusuf Datti- Ahmed:
He stated that he has been having one-on-one conversations with northern indigenes, asking them what they’ve benefitted from their own ‘tribal man’.
He said:
“You have had your tribal man in power for about 8 years and he made things worse for you, voting Peter Obi is voting for food in your stomach and security”.
