The Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, has declared his full support for the Governor of Zamfara State, Dauda Lawal, to seek a second term in office in 2027.
Matawalle said Governor Lawal’s return to the All Progressives Congress (APC) is an important step that will strengthen cooperation between the state government and the federal government.
He added that the renewed alliance would help address security challenges and promote development in Zamfara State.
According to him, the APC will work together to ensure the continued success of Bola Ahmed Tinubu while also supporting Governor Dauda Lawal to secure another mandate to continue leading the state for a second term.
