The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abiodun Adebayo, revealed during the 18th convocation ceremony that 283 students graduated with first class honours out of 1,175 students who graduated in total.

The Chancellor of the institution, Dr David Oyedepo, stressed the need for Africa to rediscover its true identity and take responsibility by providing inward solutions to its problems.
The Pro-Chancellor, Dr David Abioye, advised the graduating students to start small and grow, emphasizing that slow and steady wins the race.
