Members of the Edo State Plastic Dealers Association have expressed support for the 2027 re-election bid of Hon. Dr. Richard Osaro Edosa, representing Oredo West Constituency in the Edo State House of Assembly, following his presentation of a scorecard detailing his legislative activities and constituency projects.
Edosa made the presentation on Monday, October 12, 2026, during a courtesy visit to the association at Forestry Road, Benin City, where he engaged members on his performance since assuming office.
The lawmaker highlighted projects facilitated across Oredo West, his legislative contributions and interventions aimed at improving residents’ welfare and promoting community development.
He also drew attention to his sponsorship of a bill addressing police brutality, among other legislative initiatives, insisting that he had fulfilled the promises he made to constituents during his election campaign.
The meeting provided an opportunity for the lawmaker to account for his stewardship, explain his interventions and receive feedback from members of the business community.
Members of the association took turns to recount interventions they had benefited from and declared their support for Edosa’s second-term ambition ahead of the 2027 Edo State House of Assembly election.
They also presented issues affecting their businesses and livelihoods, seeking the lawmaker’s intervention.
In response, Edosa assured the traders that their concerns would receive attention, reaffirming his commitment to engaging constituents and addressing issues affecting their welfare.
