Bayo Onanuga, the newly appointed Special Adviser on Information and Strategy to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has expressed his gratitude for the appointment and pledged to serve Mr. President with immediate effect.
Onanuga, a seasoned journalist and media entrepreneur, brings his wealth of experience to the position, having served as the Managing Director of News Agency of Nigeria and the Chief Executive Officer of The News Magazine.
In his statement posted on X, Onanuga expressed his appreciation to President Tinubu for the confidence reposed in him, and also thanked fellow Nigerians for their prayers and support.
He further acknowledged the responsibility that comes with the position and assured Nigerians of his commitment to work diligently with other members of the team to achieve the goals of the administration.
Ajuri Ngelale, Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, had earlier announced Onanuga’s appointment on Friday, alongside the appointment of Ms. Delu Bulus Yakubu as Senior Special Assistant on Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation.
The appointments reflect President Tinubu’s commitment to building a strong team of competent individuals who will work assiduously to deliver on his promises to the Nigerian people.
