President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of a highly qualified team of experts to serve on the Governing Council and Management team of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB).
The appointment of these individuals is a significant step towards achieving the goal of 70% indigenous content and participation in the nation’s energy industry during the lifespan of this administration, as outlined in the Renewed Hope Agenda.
It is expected that the NCDMB team, led by Chairman Sen. Heineken Lokpobiri and Executive Secretary Engr. Felix Omatsola Ogbe, will work diligently to enhance indigenous industry participation in the energy sector and promote the development of local content.
The team’s vast experience and expertise in the industry will undoubtedly be an asset to the board and the nation as a whole.

In a related development, the President has approved the appointment of four (4) new members of the National Council on Privatization (NCP), representing the private sector in the Council, they are:
