A chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party in Edo State, Victoria Amu, has called on the Esan sons and daughters in diaspora, particularly those in the United States to massively support Asue Ighodalo to become the next governor of Edo state.
She made the appeal while addressing gatherings at the 2024 Esan World Congress in Houston, Texas, USA..
The PDP Chieftain who spoke shortly after Dr. Peter Aguele, representative of the PDP Governorship candidate, said Dr. Asue Ighodalo is not just a candidate but a beacon of hope for all Esan people.
She told the gathering, which was made up of different age brackets, that Dr. Asue has consistently demonstrated his ability to lead with wisdom and compassion.
While urging them to mobilise massively, she reiterated that their support for Asue Ighodalo is not just a political endorsement; it is a call to action for every Esan son and daughter.
