Embattled aide under investigation for alleged sex scandals, contract fraud
From Staff Writer
Public outrage has erupted in Benue State following disturbing allegations that a top government aide, Hon. Mkor Aondona Donatus, has transformed his official office in the Benue Government Secretariat into a venue for sexual escapades involving female students and married women.
Hon. Mkor, who serves as the Special Adviser on Documentation, Research, and Planning to the State governor, is currently in custody over allegations of misappropriating N100 million in public funds. However, it is the accompanying sex scandal that has shocked residents and ignited fresh demands for accountability within the government.
Uptown Press has obtained graphic videos purportedly recorded in Mkor’s office, clearly identifying furniture, wallpaper, curtains and other interior features previously showcased by the aide himself on social media. The footage suggests the office was frequently used for sexual encounters.
Sources familiar with the matter alleged that the embattled adviser exploited his position by luring women to his office under the guise of securing government contracts or appointments, often invoking the name of a powerful political figure. Many of these meetings allegedly culminated in sexual activity.
“It is a disgrace to the State and a betrayal of public trust,” said a local activist. “Such behaviour, if proven true, must be met with the full weight of the law.”
As of press time, neither the State government nor the governor’s office had issued an official statement on the allegations. However, pressure continues to mount as residents await a transparent investigation and possible disciplinary action.
