The Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Chief Blessing Sheriff Agbebaku the Aigbodekhe-Ini of Sobe Kingdom and Okawalele of Ozalla has donated a hummer bus to the State Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress APC.
Presenting the us to the State Chairman of APC, Emperor Jarrett Tenebe, the Speaker, thanked the Party leadership for its foresight, leadership, and direction for all in the party.
Agbebaku, who was joined at the presentation by the Deputy Speaker Rt Hon Osawonyi Atu, said that the Party has given much to members, especially those in political office, there is the need to give back to oil the wheel of progress.
In his word,s ” When a platform has been kind to you, you show generosity, it’s not by having millions, but having the spirit of giving which is inbred in me, you can have One naira and you share, while some have billions and do not still share.”
” The bus is not for the Chairman because he has his own vehicle, it’s for the staff and other logistics needed for the smooth operations at the Party Secretariat.”
Receiving the bus, the State Chairman of APC Emperor Tenebe, flanked by the State Secretary, Engr Lawrence Okah, thanked the Speaker for the donation, the first of its kind in recent times.
Emperor Tenebe disclosed that this is one of the pressing needs of the Secretariat and it has come at the right time.
Present at the Presentation was the Chief of Staff to the Speaker, Hon. ODK Iruobe Ksc, Special Advisers to Mr Speaker on protocol and Politics, Mr Chiaka Ogaraku and Engr. Victor Enahoro.
Others are former Deputy Speaker Edo State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Bright Osayande, former legislator Hon Fidelis Ogbejiele among others.
