The Deputy Chief Whip of the Edo State House of Assembly and member representing Oredo West, Dr. Richard Osaro Edosa, has been appointed Patron of the Bridge Builders Initiative for Green Nigeria (BBIGN).
Edosa announced the development on Sunday via his social media handle, describing the appointment as a call to deepen his commitment to sustainable development and responsible political engagement.
“I am deeply honoured to have been appointed Patron of the Bridge Builders Initiative for Green Nigeria (BBIGN), a progressive political pressure group committed to advocacy, engagement, and national development,” he said.
The lawmaker also disclosed that he was presented with an Award of Excellence in recognition of his contributions and service, adding that he does not take the honour lightly.
He expressed appreciation to the leadership and members of BBIGN for the confidence reposed in him, pledging to support initiatives that foster constructive dialogue, good governance and sustainable growth.
“As Patron, I remain committed to supporting constructive dialogue, responsible political participation, and initiatives that promote sustainable growth and good governance. Together, we build. Together, we move forward,” Edosa stated.
The Bridge Builders Initiative for Green Nigeria (BBIGN) is a political advocacy organisation known for its engagement in national development issues and policy-driven campaigns.
