A viral video—now reportedly taken down—has triggered widespread outrage after an alleged supporter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was heard threatening voters ahead of Nigeria’s next presidential election.
In the clip, the individual identified as Kesari, described as an APC ambassador, openly warned Nigerians to vote for the ruling party’s candidate or face violence. He was quoted as saying, “If you don’t vote for APC, I will beat the hell out of you,” while also making the controversial claim that Bola Ahmed Tinubu would become the first Nigerian president to seek a third term.
The remarks, widely condemned as inflammatory and undemocratic, have since sparked heated reactions across social and political circles, with many Nigerians expressing concern over rising political intolerance and voter intimidation.
As of the time of filing this report, there has been no official response from the APC leadership regarding the video or the alleged threats.
