From Joan Ebohon

Dolapo Lawal has sparked debate online after sharing his strong opinion about transparency in relationships. He said that couples should be completely open with each other, including sharing passwords, before deciding to get married.

In a message that has gone viral, he advised singles to test their partner’s honesty by asking for full access to their personal accounts. According to him, if a partner refuses, it’s a sign to walk away from the relationship.

He stressed that a marriage without openness cannot be genuine, questioning why someone would be physically vulnerable with their partner but still hide important personal details like finances or digital access.

Backing his point with a Bible reference, he cited Epistle to the Romans, specifically chapter 8 verse 32, to highlight the idea of complete openness and giving in a relationship.

Pastor Lawal concluded by criticizing modern relationship beliefs that promote privacy over transparency, insisting that a true marriage should reflect total honesty and openness between partners.
