Nollywood actress Lizzy Gold has shared her views on relationships and how money affects respect between partners. Speaking on a movie set, she said that a man is more likely to be respected by a woman if he is financially stronger than her.
According to her, when a man marries a woman who earns more than he does, it can lead to a lack of respect over time. She added that even if the woman initially respects him, that respect may not last, and he could lose control in the relationship.
Lizzy Gold also spoke about her personal choice,saying she would prefer to marry a man who is much richer than she is. She ended by advising people to be realistic when choosing partners, especially when it comes to financial differences.
“Every man should also have a spec. Your spec should be according to your pocket. You can’t be earning 300 thousand and going for a woman that is earning 500”.
