In her remarks, the State Coordinator of Business Women of Influence, Ms. Irene Obazee, said the Organisation operates under the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI), adding that it is also registered with the APC State Secretariat. She said the Group is active in the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, and has mobilised more than 2,500 registered women voters across the 18 local government areas of Edo State.
According to Ms. Obazee, the Organisation’s focus is to mobilise and organise women at the grassroots ahead of the 2027 general elections.
She added that the Group was seeking an audience with the Governor, in line with a directive from the National Leadership of the Party for state chapters to interface with respective state governors.
