The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Tuesday recorded 597 new cases of the dreaded COVID-19 across the contry.
Of this figure, Lagos State leads with 204 new cases, followed by Rivers State with 89 new cases and Edo-65.
Others are: FCT-50, Oyo-47, Enugu-46, Ekiti-24, Cross River-17, Delta-15, Gombe-15, Osun-12, Plateau-6, Benue-5, Kano-2.
A total 196,487 cases have been confirmed while 185,159 patients have been treated and discharged, the Centre recorded 2,573 deaths to the pandemic.
