In honour of Late Amodu Shaibu, the Edo State Chapter of the Professional Footballers Association of Nigeria (PFAN)) has commenced plans to kick start the maiden edition of the Amodu Shaibu U-18 Football Tournament.
According to a release by the organiser, the youth tournament will be held annually and is scheduled to hold from June 9 to June 17,2022 in the Egor local government area of Edo State.
The event, which is expected to attract over 16 quality youth football teams across the country to Edo, is put together by the Edo State chapter of PFAN in commemoration and honour of the late former Super Eagles coach, Amodu Shaibu who passed away on 10 June 2016 at the age of 58
