Ahead of the 2023 Senatorial and House of Representatives elections, a Chietain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Executive Chairman of Etsako West Local Government Council, Hon, Chief, Alasa Idaro, has canvassed massive support for a former Governor of Edo State and the Edo North APC Senatorial and House of Representatives candidates in the forthcoming general election, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole and Mr. Sunday Anamero (Danco)

Speaking on Sunday during the Etsako Solidarity Movement maiden meeting for Anamero held at Auchi, Hon. Alasa said, the emergence of Comrade Oshiomhole and Anamero as Senator and House of Representatives Member will attract more benefits and opportunities to Afemai land.

According to Hon. Alasa, Oshiomhole and Anamero are good combinations
that will provide exemplary leadership to the people of Edo North and Etsako Federal Constituency if given the opportunity to represent them at the Red and Green Chambers of the National Assembly.

The Former Council boss, said, APC is a progressive party that believes in infrastrutural development and empowerment of the people.

He noted that the achievements of Comrade Oshiomhole as a governor are speaking for him and urged the people of Edo North to vote massively for the former Edo Chief Executive to enjoy more dividends of democracy.

The Notable Politician described Danco as a successful Businessman cum Politician who has invested in human and infrastrutural development with his personal resources, adding that if given the opportunity to represent Etsako at the Green Chamber, the people will feel more impact of representation.

In his remark, the Convener, Mr. Jafaru Akokhia urged the people to see the project of Anamero and Oshiomhole as a task that has to be achieved and called on the members of the Movement to work assiduously towards the success of the duo and other candidates of the party.

Other Speakers at the meeting spoke on the need for members to embark on aggressive membership drive to swell up the numerical strength of the Solidarity Movement.
