A Delta State court has ordered the remand of content creator Ifeanyi Ogbonna, popularly known as Odogwu Asaba, at the Ogwashi-Uku Maximum Correctional Centre over the alleged rape and death of 20-year-old Favour Agbro.
The remand order was granted on Friday, September 4, 2026, following an application heard and granted by the court.
Counsel to the late Favour’s family, Awele Ideal, disclosed the development in a social media post on Friday afternoon.
According to Ideal, the court’s decision comes barely a week after the autopsy and toxicology test results in the case were made available to the police investigation team.
The latest development marks a significant step in the investigation into the circumstances surrounding Favour’s death, with Ogbonna now being held at the correctional facility pending further proceedings.
