The All Progressives Congress (APC) has responded to President Bola Tinubu’s long-awaited ministerial nominees list, which was read out in the Senate recently.
The party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, spoke about the list during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Thursday evening.
Morka acknowledged the delay in submitting the list but defended the President’s approach, stating that Tinubu is determined to deliver his best while in office.
He emphasized that President Tinubu is taking ample time to carefully choose his cabinet members, ensuring that they will be capable of assisting him in fulfilling his mandate to serve Nigerians effectively.
As reported, the ministerial list consists of former governors, technocrats, and prominent members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The President of the Nigerian Senate, Godswill Akpabio, read out the names of the twenty-eight ministerial nominees.
The list was delivered to the Senate by the President’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, on Thursday, bringing an end to the anticipation surrounding the nominees.
