Presidential Candidates of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, His Excellency Alhaji Atiku Abubaka had reportedly donated 55 million naira for the Bayelsa State government to support the flood victims and the recovery process. The former vice president also dropped the sum of 5 million naira at the Oxbowlake IDP camp in support of their evening dinner.
Reports indicates that, Atiku further offers scholarship to the children of one late Peremobowei Earnest, a footballer who lost his life while rescuing some flood victims in a boat misap in a visit to sympathize with the victims on Tuesday.
