The Federal Polytechnic, Auchi on Friday holds her 41st matriculation ceremony as about 15,000 students admitted to pursue National Diploma, Higher National, Evening Studies and degree courses took oath of matriculation.
Speaking at the event, the Rector of the Polytechnic, Dr. Salisu Umar told the students to hold their academic pursuit dearly as the Institution has provided needed infrastructure to aid learning.
He advised the students to shun every act inimical to their academic pursuit such as cultism, examination.

“It is my great pleasure to welcome our newly admitted students to this 41st matriculation ceremony of Auchi Polytechnic. This is a momentous occasion, marking the beginning of your academic journey here at our institution.
“As you begin this new chapter in your lives, I want to remind you of the importance of hard work, dedication, and commitment. You are here because of your passion for learning and your desire to succeed, and I encourage you to maintain that drive throughout your time here.
“I advice you to be law abiding, shun cultism, examination malpractices, but rather, face your studies squarely, live harmoniously with other students and staff and obey the rules and regulations of the polytechnic. Management will not hesitate to sanction any student whose behaviour and conduct runs contrary to laid down rules and regulations of the institution.
“The Polytechnic is committed to providing you with the highest quality education and training, and our staff are dedicated to helping you achieve your goals. But the responsibility for your success ultimately rests with you. It is up to you to take advantage of the resources and opportunities available to you, to work hard, and to strive for excellence.
“I also want to remind you that learning is not just about acquiring knowledge and skills. It is also about personal growth, self-discovery, and exploration. Take advantage of the diversity here at Auchi Polytechnic, and use this opportunity to broaden your horizons, challenge your assumptions, and expand your understanding of the world.
