Senator Neda Imasuen, representing Edo South Senatorial District, has expressed profound appreciation to his constituents for their unwavering support and confidence in his leadership, while commending President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration for making significant strides in tackling insecurity and creating opportunities for Nigerian youths.
In his August New Month message to the people of Edo South, the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions thanked residents across the seven local government areas of the district for their continued prayers, encouragement and support, describing them as the driving force behind his commitment to effective representation.
Imasuen also expressed optimism that the new month would usher in peace, prosperity and renewed hope for families and communities across the district.
The senator reaffirmed that his focus remains on delivering people-oriented legislation, effective oversight and constituency-driven initiatives capable of attracting sustainable development to Edo South.
He praised the Federal Government’s ongoing security operations, noting that the sustained efforts of security agencies have dealt major blows to criminal elements across the country, restored confidence in the nation’s security architecture and made many communities safer.
The lawmaker further highlighted the Tinubu administration’s investments in youth development through skills acquisition, digital innovation, entrepreneurship support, student financing and employment initiatives aimed at equipping young Nigerians with opportunities to succeed.
Speaking on legislative achievements, Senator Imasuen described the passage of the State Police Bill by the National Assembly as a landmark reform that would strengthen grassroots policing, improve intelligence gathering and enhance the nation’s capacity to combat insecurity upon the completion of the constitutional process.
According to him, the combined efforts of the executive and legislature demonstrate a collective resolve to build a safer, stronger and more prosperous Nigeria.
He assured constituents that he would continue to champion policies and programmes that prioritise education, youth empowerment, infrastructure development, healthcare and economic prosperity across Edo South.
