The Chairman of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Edo State Branch, Dr Andrew Oseghale Eigbedion, and the Association’s Secretary, Dr William Akerele, have paid a surprise birthday courtesy visit to the Chairman of the Edo State House of Assembly Committee on Health, Hon. Dr Richard Osaro Edosa.
The duo visited Dr Edosa at the Edo State House of Assembly Legislative Quarters in Benin City on Friday, August 28, 2026, shortly after Dr Eigbedion returned from Abuja, where he attended the NMA National Executive Council meeting.
The visit was primarily to celebrate Dr Edosa, whose birthday anniversary was marked on Thursday, August 27, with the Edo NMA leadership presenting him with a commemorative birthday photo frame on behalf of the Association.
Receiving the delegation, Dr Edosa expressed profound appreciation for the gesture, describing the personal visit by the NMA leadership as a strong demonstration of the cordial relationship and mutual respect between the medical profession and the Edo State Legislature.
The lawmaker reaffirmed his commitment to making the health and wellbeing of Edo residents a major priority in his legislative engagements.
He also pledged continued support and cooperation with the Edo NMA under Dr Eigbedion’s leadership, stressing the importance of sustained collaboration between policymakers and healthcare professionals in addressing challenges confronting the State’s health sector.
The visit further reinforced the growing partnership between the Edo NMA and the Edo State House of Assembly, with both sides united in the pursuit of policies and initiatives capable of improving healthcare delivery and strengthening the welfare of medical professionals across the State.
The Edo NMA, on its part, reaffirmed its commitment to constructive engagement with stakeholders as part of efforts to build a healthier Edo State and a stronger, more responsive healthcare system.

Hey everyone,
I’m managing a full remote work schedule and trying to keep my wardrobe streamlined but still put-together without spending too much thought on it every day. I recently found out about seasonal color palettes—mine is somewhere between soft winter and deep summer—but honestly, applying all that color theory feels confusing when I just want to grab something quick for casual days at home or running chores.
I’m aiming for a capsule wardrobe that makes sense with these colors but also fits a active lifestyle. For example, I’d love to mix and match tops and bottoms without second-guessing if the colors clash or look off on me. I gave a try to sorting out neutral basics in my color range like soft grays and muted blues but get stuck deciding on accent pieces like scarves or cardigans that add a bit of contrast.
I came across this blog post about casual seasonal capsule wardrobes what is my color palette and liked the straightforward approach they took with layering and keeping the palette cohesive without extra fuss. Still, I’m not sure how to build on that in a way that feels natural every morning.
Has anyone here managed to create an stress-free casual wardrobe based on their seasonal colors where everything just works together? How do you pick accent colors without adding overthinking? Any practical tips to quickly decide on outfits that look polished but don’t require a lot of thought or extra shopping would be super welcome.
I want to avoid spending time every day deliberating on color combos but still feel confident I’m dressing in colors that work for me well. Looking forward to hearing how others handle this in a real-world, busy-life manner!
