Breaking: Edo Police Rescue 3 abducted Dangote Cement Workers

Three employees of Dangote Cement Company in Okpella, Etsako East Local Government Area of Edo State, who were abducted by armed individuals, have been rescued by the Edo Police.
The incident occurred on Monday on Monday evening, when a group of armed men attacked a bus transporting workers from the factory to Okpella town and took some of them into the bush.
A statement on Tuesday by the image maker of the Edo State Police command, SP Chidi Nwabuzo and made available to Uptown Press explains that, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Okpella received a distress call and promptly organized a team of policemen, local vigilantes, and hunters to conduct a search and rescue operation. As a result, one of the victims, identified as Omoba, was rescued with bullet injuries and immediately taken to Halimatu Musa Hospital for medical treatment.
Two other victims, including Mr. Victor Okon, were also hospitalized for treatment. The Edo State Police have intensified efforts to rescue the remaining victims and apprehend the kidnappers.
