In his unflinching dedication towards ensuring that our children continue to learn under conducive environments, Chief Yakubu Abeni Azeez has again fulfilled his promise to Jattu Secondary School, Jattu.
Recall this is not the first time he is undertaking this task as this is one of his cardinal dreams for the good people of Etsako Federal Constituency. In both the first and second phases of this exercise, several schools within Edo North Senatorial District has benefited from Abeni Azeez in this regards.
The materials which included numerous tables and chairs with writing materials as well, were presented by Paul Okhipo (DG of Abeni Azeez Campaign Organization) to Barrister Oscar Igbadumhe (Old Boys Association of the school legal adviser) who received them on behalf of the school and Jattu Community.
In his remarks, Paul noted, “in these hard times for the world, only a truly concerned individual will take up this kind of capital intensive project. The name Abeni Azeez has become synonymous with setting the pace for others to follow. Let nobody mistake this for politics for even before this moments, Azeez has always done what others won’t think about. He believes deeply that with proper education for our children, the future of Jattu Secondary School and the entire Etsako Federal Constituency would be on the right perspective.Truly, his kinds are rare.”
On his part, Barrister Igbadumhe said, “words won’t be enough for me to thank Chief Yakubu Abeni Azeez, on behalf of Jattu Secondary School Old Boys Association for this landmark of high sense of philanthropy. If we had many of your type, the burden would drastically reduce on both the government and parents who ordinarily can’t provide such materials for their children. I am short of words but deeply appreciate this genuine show of Abeni’s unwavering commitments towards a conducive and affordable education for our children. God will continue to bless and keep you strong for us and grant your heart desires.”
On their parts, the school’s management could not hold back their joys as they poured encomiums on Abeni Azeez. They noted the school has for long been plagued by shortage of tables and chairs saying, “this very gesture will help the school and students in a long way in achieving quality education.” We pray God continue to protect Azeez and grant his heart desires.”
