The headquarters of Etdako East Local Government is currently soaked with tension as APC youths have taken the laws into their hands with the APC Chairmanship candidate mr. Ekpeson declaring himself as Chairman of the Council.
The newly elected Council Chairman of Etsako East local government area Hon. Princess Benedicta Attoh has been prevented from assumption of duties by the Edo State APC Vice Chairman Jarret Tenebe and Mr. Ekpeson causing breakdown of law and order.
As of the time of filing this report, the newly sworn-in Chairman is stranded while trying to also make peace by stopping the PDP supporters to fight back to prevent blood bath.
Members of the community have called on the Governor of the State Governor Godwin Obaseki to immediately intervene to prevent blood baths and destruction of properties as Agenebode is currently under high tension.
