The High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has ordered Jordan Ezenwo Nyesom-Wike, son of FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, to produce his American passport before the court in an alleged $2.1 million fraud case.

Justice Silvanus issued the order following an application by counsel to the claimants, Hamza Dantani, during the defendant’s presentation of his defence.

The suit, marked CV/008/2026, was instituted by Safwan Garba GY and GY Global Oil and Gas Nigeria Limited against Jordan over allegations involving $2.1 million.

The claimants told the court that they first met Jordan in London, where they developed a friendship. According to their account, they met again in Abuja approximately three months later.

They alleged that during the subsequent meeting in Abuja, they approached Jordan for assistance in facilitating the acquisition of land within the Federal Capital Territory.

The court’s directive requiring Jordan to produce his American passport came during the proceedings as the parties continued presenting their respective positions in the dispute.

Jordan is the son of Nyesom Wike, the former Rivers State governor who currently serves as Minister of the Federal Capital Territory.

The case remains before the court, and the allegations have yet to be established as proven facts.
