Cross River to spend #5billion to renovate governor’s office

Governor Bassey Otu of Cross River State has announced plans to renovate the Governor’s Office in Calabar with a budget of N5 billion. He emphasized that the office should represent the state’s status and be a signpost for visitors.
In addition, the governor will also renovate the state liaison offices in Abuja, Lagos, and other locations to reflect the same standard as the Governor’s Office.
The governor believes that refurbishing the Governor’s Office will attract investors and improve the state’s image.
He stressed that the renovations will be transparent and that the current contractors are working pro bono
