Danfodiyo Student Emerges NAPSS National President

Hussein Bashit, a 300-Level student of Political Science, Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, and President of Poetry club, UDUS, has emerged as the President of the Political Science Student, (NAPSS), National Chapter.

AbdulBashit was declared the winner of the election that was held on 23rd, September 2021, at the University of Abuja.

Pen Press gathered that three candidates contested for the post of President and these candidates include, Hussein Bashit from UDUS, Zubair Lawal from Bayero University, Kano, Ibrahim Oladipupo from Federal University Birnin-kebbi.

However, out of 52 votes, Hussein Abdulbasit, from UDUS, emerged as the winner of the election with 34 votes.

Abdulbashit expressed his gladness over his emergence as the new NAPSS President, National Chapter, and expressed his appreciation to Almighty Allah for making his dream come to reality.

“I extend my appreciation to those who vehemently support me in one way or the other. My win is dedicated to the Department of Political Science, UDUS, and the entire university for their hard work and I will keep on projecting the image of our dear university by performing my duty effectively and efficiently,” he vowed.
