The State Government is set to train and empower youths in the state in Information and Communication Technology ICT.
The State Commissioner for Science and Technology, Engr Mathew Tsekiri made this revelation earlier today Friday 26th March while speaking with the Smart Delta media crew during the Computer Based Test for the over 4000 applicant across the state.
According to the Commissioner, this is the pilot phase of the program and is currently at the selection and screening stage.
He said the program is part of the Governor Okowa’s vision of bringing prosperity to all Deltans through job and wealth creation.
He also added that the first phase will see to the 4months training and empowerment of 630 successful trainees. To be followed by another batches after every 6months.
