Hon. Dr. Richard Edosa, member representing Oredo West Constituency in the Edo State House of Assembly, has fulfilled his campaign promise to the people of Okedo Community in Ward 7 with the installation of street lighting to improve visibility, security and safety.
The project, located opposite the Third East Circular Junction along Ikpoba Slope, Akpakpava, has brought renewed visibility to Okedo Community, providing residents, businesses and commuters with a safer and more illuminated environment.
The intervention is a fulfilment of a commitment Dr. Edosa made to the community during his 2023 State House of Assembly campaign.
When the lawmaker promised that the streets of Okedo would be illuminated, it was not a promise made merely for campaign applause. Today, the people of the community can point to a tangible project delivered in line with that commitment.
The latest intervention further strengthens Dr. Edosa’s reputation as “Mr Project”, a name his supporters say has been earned through visible projects and interventions across Oredo West Constituency.
From water supply to healthcare, education, roads, street lighting, empowerment and community infrastructure, Dr. Edosa has continued to focus on projects designed to address the practical needs of his constituents.
For the people of Oredo West, the message remains clear: a promise matters when it becomes a project, and a project matters when it improves the lives of the people.
The illumination of Okedo Community is another testimony to the lawmaker’s development-focused representation.
