The member representing Oredo West Constituency in the Edo State House of Assembly, Dr Richard Edosa, has intensified efforts to improve the wellbeing of his constituents through the provision of clean and potable water across the constituency.

A medical doctor turned politician, Edosa understands the critical role of safe drinking water in preventing waterborne diseases, promoting public health and improving the quality of life. Guided by this conviction, he embarked on an aggressive water intervention programme to address years of neglect that left many communities without reliable access to clean water.

Today, the impact of the initiative is evident across all the political wards in Oredo West, where functional water projects have brought relief to residents who previously relied on unsafe water sources.

The intervention has been widely applauded by constituents, who say access to clean water has significantly improved sanitation and reduced the health risks associated with contaminated water.

Beyond water supply, Dr Edosa has also recorded notable achievements in education and road infrastructure, reinforcing his commitment to delivering meaningful dividends of democracy to the people of Oredo West.

Buoyed by his performance, many constituents have expressed support for his return to the Edo State House of Assembly in the 2027 general election, insisting that his developmental strides should be sustained for the continued growth and transformation of the constituency.
