David Imuse, the immediate past chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State and one of the twelve governorship aspirants cleared for Saturday’s direct primary election, has said that Dennis Idahosa remains the APC’s candidate for the upcoming September 21 poll in Edo state.
According to The Nation, Imuse stated that Idahosa, the younger member of the House of Representatives representing the Ovia constituency and the former commissioner for investments and public-private partnerships under Comrade Adams Oshiomhole’s administration, has the maturity, experience, and ability to guide Edo State in the right direction starting on November 12 of this year.
“I would like to offer my sincere congratulations to you, Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa, on winning the Edo State APC governorship campaign,” he stated. The victory portends well for the future of our beloved Edo State as well as for our cherished party, the APC.
“You have gained confidence and support inside the party, as evidenced by your ascent to the position of flag bearer. This win is encouraging for the next gubernatorial race, and I am confident that your leadership will benefit our state. Once more, congratulations on your noteworthy accomplishment. I hope your future endeavours bring you much more success.
