The Executive Chairman of Oredo Government Council Dr. Tom Obaseki on Wednesday formally launched the Local Government’s e-services to provide seamless administrative services to the residents of the community and by extension Edo State.
Dr. Obaseki while addressing the participants at the ceremony said that the new platform would eliminate indiscriminate, selective and excessive billing which had been some of the challenges encountered by the residents of the Council.
Speaking further, the Council honcho noted that, the platform would not only promote transparency and accountability in the administration of the Council but would enhanced its Internally Generated Revenue.
Christened Your Oredo, My Oredo, Our Oredo (OredoPay), the online platform which is accessible 24/7 by visiting oredopay.ng is automated to give access to services in a way that anywhere in the world, citizens of Oredo can access multiple services remotely and from the comfort of their homes including their Local Government Origin/Identification Certificates, Marriage Registration, Burial Permits, and other services without being physically present.
