He revealed that all sensitive and non-sensitive electoral materials have been produced, inspected, sorted, packaged and are ready for distribution in accordance with established operational procedures.

According to him, special logistics have also been put in place to transport election materials to riverine and other difficult-to-reach communities, ensuring that no eligible voter is disenfranchised because of geographical challenges.

The EDSIEC chairman further announced that voting will take place between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., while election results will be transmitted manually.

He explained that election materials have been allocated to all local government offices of the commission and properly arranged according to wards and polling units to guarantee smooth deployment before accreditation and voting commence.
