Benin City — The Deputy Governor of Edo State, Engineer Marvellous Omobayo, has made a passionate appeal to civil servants, particularly those from the Akoko-Edo region, to rally behind the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Asue Ighodalo, in the upcoming Edo 2024 Governorship Election.
During a recent address in Benin City, Engineer Omobayo underscored the importance of this support, emphasizing that backing Ighodalo would ensure the ongoing transformation of the state’s civil service. He highlighted the achievements of the current administration and the need for continuity to sustain and build upon these successes.
“Asue Ighodalo has demonstrated a clear vision and commitment to furthering the development of Edo State,” Omobayo stated. “His leadership will be pivotal in maintaining the progress we have achieved in the civil service, which has seen significant improvements in efficiency and service delivery.”
